Why JSU?

So many of our teens feel estranged and disconnected from any expression within the Jewish community and are often indifferent to the struggles Israel faces. The Jewish Student Union is proud to create connections to Judaism and Israel in almost 300 high schools across the US and Canada. So far we have reached over 20,000 students in a short period of time. We will reach tens of thousands more of our youth and will strive to fan flames of the Jewish Community and love of Israel – one spark at a time.

Before our high school youth are confronted on the college campus with the problems associated with assimilation, and the battering of pro-Israel support, the JSU engages. We plan to address the existing adverse demographic challenge with many things positive. We plan to make a powerful difference in achieving the goals we share for Jewish teenagers. Our answer is that more of our grandchildren will be Jewish, and that love of Israel will grow- from generation to generation.
